Broken Wings, by Dianne Price – Book Review

Broken-Wings-COVER-front-201x300Colonel Rob Savage with the American Air Forces and RAF nurse Maggie McGrath have more than the German offensive to concern them. The battles launched from the past and from home must be won as well. But first Maggie has to help Rob survive his serious injuries and face his long road to rehabilitation.

Culturally rich in the Scottish highland setting, vivid details of battles in the air, irresistible characters facing and overcoming their weaknesses – all these elements are present in this engaging story. The author, Dianne Price, passed away before she could hold the published copy of Broken Wings in her hands, but her writing leaves us an inspiring legacy.
