Walking on every single street in my new home town of Junction City, Oregon before Christmas–that’s my goal!  We moved here one year ago and I still feel I should know my community better.  Walking around it is a good way to accomplish that, and it’s also good for a more contented heart and stronger body.  I don’t want to be the old wobbly lady struggling up Spencer’s Butte ever again!

Today’s walk took me on these streets: Prairie Rd., Addison, SW Laurel, SW Juniper, Coral, Bryant, and SW Kalmia.

An Oregon Duck fan’s abode caught my eye once before, so I wasn’t too surprised to see it again.  That is, until I stopped squinting at the brightly dressed tree out front.  It was the same combination of green-to-yellow as the house’s paint job, but extravagantly decked out!  Hopefully I can get a photo and post it before the leaves drop.
